Thermoflex
braided sleevings are made of a flexible, ex- pandable glass fibre or silica fibre braid. They have been developed for thermal pro- tection applications in extremely hot areas.
Different coating types are available to protect your valuable cables from open flames, convective or radiant heat.

High temperature resistant
These two types of the EXPANDO series have been specifically developed to meet the most extreme thermal requirements. For short durations, these braided sleevings can even cope with temperatures of up to +1350°C.
Reflecting
The braided sleevings of the TEXTALU series are coated with a heat-reflecting aluminium layer, and can thus be applied in direct vicinity of strongly radiant heat sources.
Fire protection
The products ot the FYREJACKET series are thickwall glass fibre braids and avail- able as tape or sleeving. By means of their silicone coating, they ensure extraordinary protection from open flames.
Temperature balance
The special material properties of all types provide a nearly consistent interior climate within the sleeving, and your valuable wire or cable bundles are effectively protected from temperature deviations or shocks.
Abraison resistant
In addition to their extraordinary thermal properties, the braided glass or silica fibres also provide excellent protection from abrasion and other mechanical strain.
